Dear colleagues: We are assembling the 2nd ever "Confession Session"
for IEEE Symposium on Circuits and Systems, in Seville
<https://www.iscas2020.org/>. The aim is to help you and others avoid
expensive mistakes.
If you are interested in participating by contributing an interesting
confession, please let us know.
We just now received confirmation that the session is accepted. As
before, we plan a single long paper with all contributors as authors. We
have started the paper which we have only about 3 weeks to complete. The
papers need to be submitted by November 17th. Since we need to edit the
paper, *the absolute latest we need your contribution is Nov 10*.
As some of you might recall, we last did this kind of thing in ISCAS 2011.
1. The 2011 ISCAS confessions paper link is

2. The slide handouts are at
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzvXOhBHjRheNXFkMTRMQllieVE .
3. Our proposal for ISCAS 2020 session is

Please let us know by reply if you will contribute a confession. We need
following information
1. Name
2. Affiliation
3. email
4. Tentative title of confession
PS, it will not be essential to come to ISCAS 2020 in Seville. You can
contribute slides that another attendee can present for you.
PPS, to control the length of the single paper, we will cut off the
confessions to the first 25 people who actually contribute a confession.
Extra confessions can be used for a future session.
PPPS, it is not necessary (or wanted) to make authors all contributors
to whatever chip/system you are confessing about. The author should only
be the person who is writing the confession of the mistake and what was
learned from it. We have enough authors already.
We look forward to hearing from you
