The newly born Neuromorphic Engineering Lab of the University of Liege is hiring two post-docs in the context of the “Neuromorphic design of embodied intelligence” (NEMODEI) project, which is a joint project between the University of Liege and imec in Leuven.

Our lab joins neuromorphic hardware design, development of neuro-inspired control and learning algorithms for robotic applications, and wet neuroscience research on cultured neurons. The two postdoc positions involve research on the following topics

  *   design of neuromorphic sensing and signal processing systems
  *   cognitive information-processing methods
  *   neuromorphic design of embodied intelligence
  *   neuromodulation principles of biological neural microcircuits (on cultured neurons over dense MEAs)

in collaboration with the lab members @Ulg (Jean-Michel Redouté, Alessio Franci, Guillaume Drion, Pierre Sacré, Louis Wehenkel), their students, collaborators @imec, international collaborators, as well as engaging in the early phases of the lab development.
