Here in the SpiNNaker group in Manchester we have a vacancy for a post-doc on our contribution to the CONVOLVE project. This is a Europe-wide consortium of industrial and academic partners in the area of low power IOT-type devices, mainly ANNs and (to a lesser extent) SNNs. This three year project currently has 18 months to go. The work is notionally around neuromorphic pipeline design using Verilog, although interest in artificial and spiking networks and their theory would also be useful.
