[CapoCaccia - announce] One (neuromorphs) mailing list to replace them all

Dear neuromorphs,

this is to inform you that the mailing following mailing lists are slowly being decommissioned:

neuromorphs-announce at googlegroups.com
announce at mail.capocaccia.cc
announce at neurotechai.eu

All addresses are being transferred to this new list server: announce at mail.neuromorphs.net
You should soon receive a message from the list server informing you that you have been subscribed to this list (please check your spam folder just in case).
If you want to post announcements to the whole community at large, you will be able to use this single list.
If you no longer want to receive neuromorphic related announcements, you can unsubscribe following the instructions in the message.

This is part of a larger community building effort on the http://neuromorphs.net/ server.
If you register there you can change preferences in the new mailing
list, use an open-source forum (flarum) to discuss with the broad
neuromorphic community at large, use the "Slack" open-source
equivalent messaging service (mattermost) for discussions and
coordination among smaller, more focused teams, and even an
open-source "Dropbox" equivalent service (nextcloud) for sharing small
files among each other.

The most complex part of this setup is the single-sign on service:
once you register for one, you can use the same log-in also for all
other services. We have already used this also for the CapoCaccia
Neuromorphic Intelligence workshop, and it worked flawlessly.

We are doing this to honor the memory of my ex-student Daniel
Fasnacht, who was the original owner of the neuromorphs.net domain and
was providing his support to Telluride and CapoCaccia on a voluntary
basis and sadly passed away prematurely 5 years ago.
